I wish to thank SHARE for allowing our group to make a donation of both art items, as well as handmade items for their clothing barn outreach.
On a personal note, I would like to share a story. Several years ago, my son and I were in dire straights. I thought that it was only possible to give him one Christmas gift, and I honestly did NOT know at all where money would come from for our Christmas meal.
I asked for help at SHARE, and they were simply dynamic! Not only, in the way of gift cards did they supply enough for our Christmas meal, but they also donated generous gift cards for BOTH my son and I. I was in a bucket of tears once I realized all they had done and how much that was going to change things for 'our Christmas'.
My son received gift cards to local stores, and so did I. So much so, that it was honestly the BEST Christmas we had in a long while!
I was amazed at the compassion in which was shown when I came to get our 'Christmas basket'. YES, there were food items, as well as a gift card to a local grocery store. BUT, down to the last detail, I also received a handmade scarf that perfectly matched my coat! What are the odds? But, then, there's SHARE.
I was able to purchase things for my son that he would otherwise have gone without. I am entirely thankful for all they did for us as a family, as well as the kindness and compassion shown when I picked up our items.
It is my utmost humble expression to have donated items of handmade art, neck warmers, gloves, and scarves on behalf of Drops of Faith Art Ministries. Yes, I was able to contribute as well, but had it not been for the hard work of my fellow friends here, this simply would have been impossible.
In total, we donated over 1,700 items this year, and I am SO thrilled to say that!!! May God bless each and every one who receives one of our gifts.
Special thanks to Chris for working with me in making this donation, and we as a group all pray that these items will be a blessing to others!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Much love,
Kim Reed (part of Drops of Faith Art Ministries). My sweet friends, Debbie Reed, Feather Rae Reed, Carol Jean Blakely, and Bernadette Rita Tuffs all contributed to this. People from Minnesota, Texas, and the UK is quite astounding in how they reached out to our community!!! As I like to say...YAY GOD! :)
Have a blessed Christmas everyone, and we pray that these gifts will uplift your spirits at this time!
Much love to you all,
Kim Reed

Homeless Outreach In Texas
Just a testimony of what God is doing with our 'stuff'. You know we were
collecting things for New Hampshire for a place called SHARE. But our
thinking all along is that we hoped to find places near Debbie Reed in
Minnesota and I'm in Texas. Impact Lubbock is much like SHARE in that
they minister to the homeless and less privileged - that ministry is
close to Kim Reed's heart. So yesterday, I went by and
visited with Wanda and showed her the hand warmers, neck warmers,
boobie purses, laminated John 3:16 cards, etc. As with SHARE, my concern
was that our ministry tag is on those items. She was delighted! She so
wants to share God and God's love with the people she comes in contact
with. So I will begin to take some things by for them to have. They pass
out 'encouraging' cards to the people waiting to see the dentist and
doctor and will put one in the food baskets. It is so neat to work with a
ministry that welcomes sharing the gospel. It seems to be a wide open
door. And again, God is letting us be the hands and feet of the work He
is doing. Plus it is a real encouragement to the workers to have
donations. If you have places where we can minister or would like to
contribute things for either SHARE or Impact Lubbock, just contact us (you can either use the contact form on the left hand side, or leave a comment under this with your request and email address and we can contact you). Kim will need items for the Christmas baskets by December 12
and the Lubbock ones can be anytime. Winter comes later in Texas, so we
haven't had cold weather yet. Blessings and prayers whatever and
wherever your ministry is.
Blessings,
Carol Jean

Reaching Out to Our Veterans!
Hi friends,
I am SO thrilled to be able to share that I contacted the VA Hospital in Manchester, NH, this morning. I explained to them that we have 160 items for possible donation, and that they do contain Scriptures on them.
SO pleased to say that they are more than happy to accept them! At this facility, they do care for young and old alike, and also have patients who have suffered injuries while serving.
Please pray with us that God will use these items to bless our precious veterans! Special thanks to our sweet friend and member here, Carol Jean, for creating these beautiful cards and tags!!!
So exciting...to God be the glory!!
Love to all,
Kim

GREAT testimony!!!
Hey friends,
Our friend, Bernie, who is a member here, recently made up these cards for our ministry. She is extremely gifted in digital art...something new for us!!! The REALLY neat thing is that she ordered 50 cards.
When I received the box though, I was a little confused at first because there were 150 (or 151 if you count the one that was on top!)
Bernie was never charged for the additional 100 items!!! God sees and knows every need. He KNOWS that 151 men NEED these cards!!!
This was totally amazing and took us by surprise, but it was a happy 'God surprise'!!! I LOVE it when He does things like this!!! AMAZING story.
Great work, Bernie, and we so appreciate your contribution to this ministry!!! <3 God bless you all, Kim

Why we make items and abandon them
Drops Of Faith Art is a ministry that reaches out to the hurting world through 'drops of art work' sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ.
● To let people know of God's love for them, and that they can come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
● To offer encouragement and joy to the recipients who find them.
● To put a smile on their face, and brighten their day.
● We pray over each item we make and ask God for His direction and leading as to where He wants us to drop them.
● To love on them, and let them know that they are not alone in this world, that they are loved and that there is hope in life.
● To shine the light of Christ in the world.
Whether you’re gifted in artwork (making cards, bookmarks, tags, painting, mixed media, drawing, etc.), crocheting, knitting, sewing or crafts, digital (created on your computer) and printed out, God can utilize your talents for His glory! Our goal is to love people to Jesus, one person at a time.
Example of places to drop (abandon) our items: Wherever God leads you to, a park, grocery store, doctor or dentist office, gas station, library, places you eat at, department store, etc. Even just hand one to someone if you feel God leading you to do that.
Items made do not need to be anything fancy or special to encourage and brighten their day.

What are ministry tags and why do we use them?
With each item we make (whether it be art, crocheting, sewing, crafts, etc.), we include ministry tags, which you can find here on the main page. It gives the name of our ministry, as well as our blog address. This is a crucial part of the ministry because if people who receive our items DO go to this blog, they are then able to see the full Gospel message. That is our main goal. To encourage others, and also, to point them in love to our Savior.
How do we attach the tags? On my cards, bookmarks, or key ring cards, I normally don’t paint the backs of them. I simply add our ministry tag to the backside of the small items with a simple glue stick. Others prefer to put their items in bags, and put the ministry tags inside of those. Whichever works best for you is great! If your item is crocheted, etc., a suggestion is to punch a hole in the ministry tag itself, and then attach it to the item with ribbon or twine, etc.
If you have further questions about this, please feel free to ask at any time. We are more than happy to assist!
Blessings to all!

Homeless Outreach Ministry
I would like to thank my dear
friend, Carol Jean, for lovingly making HUNDREDS of these beautiful John 3:16
cards. They will be utilized in
a neighboring community of mine, Manchester, NH.
As a group, we will continue
to seek to be a blessing to ministries, and create with the goal of loving
people to Jesus, one person at a time.
We pray that these cards will help to plant seeds in lives and point
people to our loving Savior. If you
receive a care and visit our blog here, please scroll down to see the Gospel
message. If you see this and are already
a Christian, please join with us in prayers that God will use our gifts to
shine the love of Christ. That’s our
heart’s desire.
Blessings and love to all,
Kim

More from 'O Come Let Us Adorn Them' Event
On Dec. 3rd, 2016, my sister and I had the privilege of attending 'O
Come Let Us Adorn Them', an outreach to the homeless in Manchester, NH.
Several amazing friends participated in this, assisting me with the items, with such love shown, you would have thought these precious homeless folks were their own neighbors. I will be posting a couple more testimonies in the days to come. For each testimony that touched us personally, I decided I wanted to do a journal page for each to seal those sweet memories in my mind.
Feather Rae Reed is an amazing young lady with a heart after God. She joined our ministry awhile ago now, and she is full of love for others, and she creates straight from her heart with joy! It is evident in her work. Very much so, and I am so proud of her!
There was a woman who walked by our table that day. She was clearly homeless. The only thing she had with her was an old purse with holes in it. When my sister and I greeted her, we told her the types of things that were available at our table. She shook her head and said, "No. I don't believe in that kind of thing". She thanked us anyway. There were so many people that she kind of got 'stuck' in front of our table.
She spotted a tag that had purple glitter all over it, with a Scripture on the back. She looked both ways, scooped it up, and put it in that raggedy purse. My sister and I both caught this and were smiling ear to ear!
Feather prays while she works. CLEARLY, this woman would have left there without anything from our table, had she not seen the beautiful tag with the purple glitter. God took Feather's work, and I have no doubt in my mind that whatever Scripture was there was meant to be seen by this lady that day. God is SO specific to each of us, and this just proves it! God took something that Feather loves...purple glitter...and He used it to speak His words of life to the heart of someone Feather does not know, who is without a home, who happens to love purple glitter too!
I had so much fun with this page, and I used Feather's photo with permission here. Don't be afraid to step out when God calls you to do something! The 'small' things are NOT so small at all!!!
Blessings, Kim
